TxETA
Student Recognition

TxETA is excited to offer TxETA Student Awards as a means of recognizing the outstanding work and dedication of students involved in Texas UIL and TAPPS One Act Play competition. These performance based awards are open to all companies that have at least one director who is a member of TxETA and compete in One Act Play contests at District and higher levels (UIL, TAPPS, or Festivals) at High School or Middle School/Junior High. Directors may name up to four students to the All Company at each level of competition. In addition, the All State Academic Company will be open to theatre Seniors or 8th graders who meet the academic criteria and whose directors are members of TxETA. There is not a limit to the number of nominations to the All State Academic Company. Once submissions are received, the Awards Committee will verify membership and directors will be sent their student certificates for distribution at their annual awards ceremonies.

We look forward to helping you to celebrate the hard work of your student actors and technicians!
