McAllen High School (McAllen ISD) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of HEAD THEATRE DIRECTOR for the 2026-2027 school year.
McAllen High is a 5A school in the Rio Grande Valley in a supportive district with a history of dedicated and talented students.
STIPEND- $9,500 plus additional stipends for UIL events.
CONTRACT- 202 days (15 extra days paid at your daily rate).
TEAM- Campus has a total of three full-time theatre directors (Head plus two assistant directors).
The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with experience and passion for directing, acting coaching, musical theatre, UIL, and guiding students in the college theatre audition process. This position has been open for a period of time throughout the school year but will begin interviewing soon.
